Cheras is a suburb that sits within two states, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. It is sited southeast of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, while to its south is the upcoming suburb or Kajang.

The Selangor portion of Cheras is Pekan Batu 9 Cheras. Cheras is actually in Hulu Langat, Selangor. Half of Cheras is in Kuala Lumpur, while the other half is in Selangor, under the Kajang Municipal Council.

The Heart Foundation of Malaysia started the School Health Program for year 2014 by holding a program at a private school, Beaconhouse Sri Murni School, located at Batu 9, Jalan Cheras, Selangor. A total of 60 students and teachers attended a health screening test, which took place on 11 February 2014.

This program is assisted by nurses from the Hulu Langat District Health Office. Thank you from YJM to PKD Hulu Langat who have worked together to make this program a success.

Beaconhouse Sri Murni is a well-established private national school located in Cheras, Selangor. It is part of the global Beaconhouse School System, one of the largest private school networks in the world.

Beaconhouse Malaysia Sdn Bhd was established in 2004, marking the first time the Pakistani-based education system crossed international borders.

Klang may have taken it name from the Klang River which run through the city, begins at Kuala Lumpur and runs west all the way to Port Klang, is known as Klang Valley.

The School Health Program for 2014 continued with a program at the Chung Hua (Private) School, Klang, Selangor which took place from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm on 6 May 2014.

A total of 106 school students and 13 teachers and school staff attended the health screening test.

Chung Hua Independent High School (巴生中华独立中学), located on Jalan Kota Raja in Klang, is one of the most historic Chinese educational institutions in Selangor. Founded in 1912, it has evolved through significant historical shifts in Malaysia’s education system. Located at Jalan Kota Raja, Klang, Selangor, Primarily the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), with the national KSSM (SPM) curriculum as a secondary focus.

Historical Timeline

Year	Milestone
1911–1912	Founded by pioneers like Lin Heng Shi and Yang Gu Jie. Classes officially began on Nov 1, 1912, using the Klang Hokkien Association as a temporary site.
1920s-30s	The school expanded despite economic hardships. In 1938, the secondary wing was established, and the school was renamed "Chung Hua Primary and Secondary School."
1941–1945	Closed during the Japanese Occupation. Many school records and facilities were destroyed. It reopened on Nov 19, 1945.
1957	Administration split: the Primary school (SJKC) accepted government subsidies, while the Secondary school began operating independently.
1961	In response to the 1961 Education Act, the school chose to remain an Independent High School to preserve the Chinese medium of instruction.
1980	Restructured to become a full-fledged Independent High School.
1990	Completion of the main five-block teaching complex.
2004	Became the first Chinese Independent High School in Malaysia to receive ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management.
2016	Celebrated its 105th anniversary with the opening of a new multi-purpose Integrated Building.

During the program we stayed at a budget hotel, My T Hotel, located on Jalan Kota Raja, Taman Raja Nong, Klang, a very convenient location to the school.

Shah Alam the state Capital of Selangor, situated within the Petaling District and a small portion of the neighbouring Klang District. Shah Alam replaced Kuala Lumpur as the capital city of Selangor in 1978 due to Kuala Lumpur's incorporation into a Federal Territory in 1974.

The Leadership Training helps identify high-potential individuals that are likely to become leaders and extends the capabilities and knowledge of individuals who already perform leadership roles.

The primary goal is to create strong, confident and capable leaders who can motivate and inspire employees, solve complex problems, make strategic decisions and drive organisational success.

Electrical Engineering & Technical Division (EETD) course held at the Holiday Inn Glenmarie in Shah Alam back in July 2009.

A major annual community and literary event held at the HQ of Kumpulan Media Karangkraf in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam, Selangor.

The Karangkraf warehouse sale is back on 7 - 9 Feb 2014.... Prices drop up to 80% for every purchase of Karangkraf magazines, books, novels and Al Quran.

Location at Kumpulan Media Karangkraf Complex, the biggest and most successful bumiputra owned publisher in Malaysia.

Fans had the chance to meet famous local authors and celebrities. On the weekend of February 8–9, the main stage hosted finalists from the Pencarian Lelaki Maskulin and various artists associated with Karangkraf's magazines like Media Hiburan and Keluarga.

Being held at the Karangkraf complex (Lot 1, Jalan Renggam 15/5, off Persiaran Selangor), it allowed the public to see the heart of one of Malaysia's largest publishing houses.

A Health Checkup Program was held for employees of Sharp Electronic (M) Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor on 26 November 2014.A total of 116 Sharp Electronic staff attended the health checkup that day.

In late 2014, Sharp was highly active in Malaysia, particularly focusing on their "Eco-Positive" initiatives and the promotion of their Plasmacluster and AQUOS technologies.
