MEMORIES - MY COLLECTIONS OF MEMBERSHIP CARD ETC.

AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION OF MALAYSIA (AAM)
Established in 1932 through the merger of existing Malayan automobile clubs, acting as national motoring authority and official spokesperson for Malaysian vehicle owners. 
In its early days, the AAM provided essential information to motorists, including road maps of Malaya, town plan, details of rest houses and first-aid hints, as evidence in a 1939 handbook. 
In 1955, AAM introduce the country's first Motorcycle Patrol services.
In 1991, AAM launched its first breakdown and towing services in Kuala Lumpur, later expanding to other major cities. 
In 2010, AAM Automotive Centre (AAC) was officially launched in Batu Caves, offering a one-stop shop for automatic and collision repairs. 
In October 2016, AAM announced the closure of 11 branches nationwide as part of a recovery plan to reduce losses.
In March 2019, the Office of the Sports Commissioner (PJS) revoked AAM's status as the official sports body for motorsports, cancelling its registration.


AIA HEALTH SERVICES SDN BHD
Provides healthcare marketing and management services to support AIA Bhd, which offers a variety of health and medical insurance plans. However, I am no longer an active member of this insurance after retiring.
 

AKOJAYA SDN BHD
My wife and I used to be distributors of Akojaya products, a Malaysian company, an importer and distributor of household tableware, glassware and related products. Established in 1981, supplies a wide range of products to the Malaysian Market.


NATIONAL TRANSPLANT RESOURCE CENTRE (NTRC)
Pusat Sumber Transplan National, an important institution under the Ministry of Health Malaysia that manages and coordinated organ donation activities in the country. It is located in Kuala Lumpur, currently operating out of the Wisma Sejarah Building. The admin office is at the Hospital Kuala Lumpur. 


COURTS MAMMOTH - HOMECLUB CARD
Was once a member of the Mammoth Courts Homeclub, but is no longer active. It is the official rewards program owned and managed by Courts  (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Courts Mammoth. 


IWANI HALAL FROZEN FOOD MEMBERSHIP CARD
A membership that provides special prices on their products and selected items. The membershipis available for a fee. The outlets is in Taman Permata, Hulu Kelang, Selangor and Taman Greenwood, Batu Caves, Selangor.


REALREWARDS MALAYSIA
A household multi-merchant coalition loyalty program. It allows 4 million members to earn and redeem points across a network of business partners including retailers, restaurants and insurance providers. 
Points can be redeemed for merchandise, goods or services via the RealRewards Online Catalog or at in-store redemption partners.


REVELL SDN BHD (SOUTHEAST ASIA)
Revell Sdn Bhd is a direct selling company based in Malaysia that distributes health supplements, homecare and cosmetic products. There are a corporate member of the Direct Selling Association of Malaysia. 
My wife and I were once Revell distributors, but we are no longer active.


SATINNI MATCH PLUS (M) SDN BHD
A Malaysian company involved in the distribution and supply of fashion, leather products, houseware and premium gifts and souvenirs. The company operates in Melaka. 
My wife was a Satinni agent and used to be active, but now she is no longer active due to age.


SMARTLINK2U PREPAID IN 2015
Smartlink2u was once a specific mobile plan available in Malaysia. It appears to have been one of many competing prepaid options in the Malaysian market at that time. Today in 2025, it appears to be no longer in business as a prepaid mobile service. 


TESCO RHB BANK AND CLUBCARD
Tesco have been rebranded as Lotus's Stores Malaysia. The former Tesco Clubcard program has been replaced by the My Lotus's Loyalty Programme


TOUCH & GO MALAYSIA
Touch 'n Go (TnG) was established in 1996 as Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd to provide Malaysia's first card-based electronic toll payment system. Officially launched on March 18, 1997, it began at the Jalan Pahang and Jalan Cheras Toll Plaza. 
1999-2000: SmartTAG was introduced to allow motorist to pass tolls without stopping. 
2018: Touch n' Go eWallet officially launched.


AEON MEMBER PLUS VISA CARD
A 2-in-1 prepaid card and loyalty card designed for frequent shoppers at AEON-affiliated outlets. In 2025, AEON is also transitioning the naming of its standard credit cards to include Member Plus branding.
Amongs the benefits and rewards of AEON Members cards are AEON Points for every RM1 spent at AEON Stores, AEON Big, AEON Wellness, Points Redemption, Free Parking and others.


AMWAY DISTRIBUTOR AUTHORITY CARD
This card was issued to me in 2003 as the AMWAY distributor, authorised to conduct business as independent distritutors for Amway. 


BIOSHOP CORPORATION (M) SDN BHD
A private limited company based at Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, involved in the health care products industry. 


BONUS LINK
Malaysia's first multi-partner consumer rewards program, allowing over 9 million members to earn and redeem points across a vast network of merchants. Among the privileges to members are earn up to 5x points on fuel and Shell select purchases , use points instantly at over 1,000 locations including Shell, Parkson, Focus Point and 99 Speedmart. 


KAD RIA - PUSAT PAKAIAN HARI-HARI
Kad Ria (or KadRia app) is the official membership program for loyal customers of Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari which offers various exclusive benefits.


HERO MARKET MEMBERSHIP CARD
Free for life, with no registration or yearly renewal fees. You can sign up either at a physical store of through their mobile app. 


HINODE SHOP FRIENDLY CARD
A customer loyalty program, offers various benefits across all Hinode Shop outlets in Malaysia. Hinode shop is a retail chain specialising in affordable gifts, souvenirs and home decor accessories with a "Japanese decorative theme" in some stores. It has been established in Malaysia for over 30 years.


HYPERSHOE PRIVILEGE CARD
A major footwear retailer in Malaysia with approximately 40 outlets, primarily concentrated in the Klang Valley. 


KAD CERIA - JABATAN WILAYAH PERSEKUTUAN
A discount program managed by the Department of Federal Territories, designed to help residents of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan manage cost of living by providing discounts on daily essentials. However, I have never used this card once since it was given to me, I don't remember what year.


PETRONAS MESRA CARD
The primary loyalty programme for PETRONAS customers in Malaysia, allowing you to earn and redeem points on fuel and convenience store purchases. 


SENHENG PLUSONE CARD
A physical and digital loyalty program that offers exclusive benefits like an extra 1-year warranty and S-Coin cashback on purchases at Senheng and SenQ outlets nationwide .


POPULAR CARD
The primary membership program for POPULAR Bookstore. Members received 10% discount storewide at over 150 branches across Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.


WATSON MEMBERSHIP CARD
Provides access to exclusive health and beauty rewards,point accumulation and discounts across various regions including Malaysia, Singapre and the Philippines. 


PETRON MILES
The loyalty program for Petron Malaysia that rewards customers for fuel and select non-fuel purchases. Membership is free and has no membership fees.

MEMORIES - MY COLLECTION OF BANKS ACCOUNT & ATM CARDS

PHILEO ALLIED BERHAD
Established as Allied Bank,it was subsequently renamed PhileoAllied Bank after being acquired by PhileoAllied Berhad in the mid-1990s. It started operations as a Malaysian-owned bank after taking over the single Kota Kinabalu branch of UOB.
In the late 1990s, PhileoAllied Bank was instructed to merge with a weaker Multi-Purpose Bank (now Alliance Bank). PhileoAllied Bank was sold to Maybank in January 2001.
I opened a PhileoAllied Bank account at the New Town branch, Petaling Jaya on 13 January 2000 to credit my monthly salary into this bank account.


DIRECT ACCESS / SOUTHERN BANK BHD
"Direct Access" was the name of the first direct banking service launched by the former Southern Bank Berhad in Malaysia in the late 1990s.
However, Southern Bank Berhad was acquired and fully integrated into CIMB Bank in March 2007. The "Direct Access" service is no longer a standalone offering, but rather part of the broader suite of CIMB's banking services. 
Southern Bank Berhad (SBB) once the 9th largest bank in Malaysia with a strong retail and SME business, was fully acquired by CIMB Group Holdings Berhad in a significant merger that concluded in March 2007. 
I am a Direct Access Mastercard holder while working with the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia. I opened a Southern Bank account at the Taman Seri Rampai branch, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur on 5 March 2007.


EON BANK BERHAD
EON Bank Berhad was established after Edaran Otomobil Nasional (EON) acquired a 46.85% stake in the Sarawak-based Kong Ming Bank in 1991.
Following the Asian Financial crisis and subsequent banking sector consolidtion efforts by Bank Negara Malaysia, EON Bank Berhad was acquired by Hong Leong Bank in 2011. The entire business transfer was completed on 1 July 2011, and EON Bank became a dormant company . I was EON Bank Visa cardholder in the year 2005. 
There is a separate entity called AEON Bank (M) Berhad, launched in May 2024 as Malaysia's first Islamic digital bank. However it is not related to the former EON Bank Berhad. 


KWONG YIK BANK BERHAD
Kwong Yik Bank Berhad was founded on 15 July 1913 in Kuala Lumpur, and was Malaya's first local bank, aimed at serving the local Chinese community. 
In 1996, Rashid Hussain, a prominent figure in Malaysian finance, acquired a 75% stake in the bank from Malayan Banking Berhad..
In 1997, Kwong Yik Bank Berhad menged with DCB Bank Berhad (Development and Commercial Bank). Following with further merger with Sime Bank in 1999 and Bank Utama in 2003, the entity evolved into the modern-day RHB Banking Group, which is a major, fully integrated financial services provider in Malaysia today. 


BUMIPUTRA-COMMERCE BANK BERHAD
Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Bhd is no longer an active banking entity, it was a key transitional institution that was ultimately absorbed into the current CIMB Group structure. 
Bumiputra-Commerce Bank was formed in October 1999 through the merger of two existing banks : Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Bhd dan Bank of Commerce (Malaysia) Bhd.
The acquisition of the Bumiputra-Commerce Group by CIMB was announced in June 2005, and the restructuring exercise was largely completed in January 2006, marking the official launch of the new CIMB Group.

BANK BUMIPUTRA MALAYSIA BHD (BBMB)
BBMB was a cornerstone of Malaysia's post-independence economic policy, established to increase the participation of the Malay (Bumiputra) community in the country's financial sector. 
Established on 1 October 1965, following a resolution from the first Bumiputera Economic Congress. 
By the 1980's, it has become the largest bank in Malaysia by assets and one of the largest in Southeast Asia. 
In 1999, following the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, Bank Bumiputra merged with Bank of Commerce (Malaysia) Berhad to form Bumiputra-Commerce Bank (BCB).
BCB was later acquired by CIMB Group in 2005 as part of a major restructuring to create a "universal bank"


POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANK 
Locally known as Bank Simpanan Pejabat Pos, traces back the history in the 19th century, leading to its transformation into the modern-day Bank Simpanan Nasional.
The concept of saving banks within Post Offices began in British Malaya to encourage thrist among lower-income citizens. The first ones, such as the Perak Savings Bank (1888) and Selangor Savings Bank (1893), were managed by the respective state treasures before being taken over by the Postal Department. 
In 1948, The Post Office Savings Bank was formally established through the merging of several state-level post office banks under the Post Office Savings Bank Ordinance 1948. It operated as part of the Postal Services Department. 
In 1974, Malaysian Government established Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN). The BSN Act 1974 repealed the former ordinance, and BSN Offficially took over all functions and responsibilities of the Post Office Savings Bank on 1 December 1974.

BANK SIMPANAN NASIONAL (BSN)
BSN was eatablished on 1 December 1974, officially launched by the Second Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Hj Abdul Razak bin Hussein. It was formed to take over the function of the former Post Office Saving Bank, which had been set up in 1948. 



AMANAH SAHAM NASIONAL BERHAD
Malaysia's largest unit Trust Management company, a wholly-owned subsiadiary of the state-owned investment management company Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB). Established in 1979, its primary goal is to promote long-term investment and financial well-being among all Malaysians by offering a variety of unit trust funds. 


BANK KERJASAMA RAKYAT MALAYSIA BERHAD
Commonly known as Bank Rakyat, is Malaysia's largest Islamic cooperative bank and the second-largest Islamic financial institution in the country. 
Established in 1954, its original name was Bank Agong Kampong Bekerjasama-sama Persekutuan Tanah Melayu dengan Tanggungan Berhad. 


MAYBANK (MALAYAN BANKING BERHAD)
The largest Malaysia's financial institution. Founded in 31 May 1960 by Singaporean businessman Tan Sri Khoo Teck Puat, began its operation from its first branck on Jalan Tun H.S.Lee Kuala Lumpur. 
Maybank become the first Malaysian Bank to set up ATMs and introduce computerised savings and current accounts services
In 2000s : Maybank launched Maybank2u.com in June 2000, becoming the first bank in Malaysia to introduce internet banking services




RHB BANK BERHAD
RHB Bank Berhad traces its origin back to 1913 with the establishment of Kwong Yik Bank Berhad, Malaya's first local bank
The modern day entity, RHB Bank Berhad was officially formed in 1997 through a significant merger. 
1983: establishment of Rashid Hussain Securities, acquired a 75% stake in Kwong Yik Bank in 1996.
1997: Kwong Yik Bank Berhad merged with DCB Bank Berhad to form RHB Bank Berhad, followed by a merger with Sime Bank Berhad (formerly United Malayan Banking Corporation) in 1999 and the merger of Bank Utama Berhad into RHB Bank in 2003. 

ARAB-MALAYSIAN FINANCE BERHAD (AMFB)
The former name of a major Malaysian Financial institution that is now part of the larger AmBank Group. Incorporated in 1980 and subsequently listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) in 1991. AMFB's business was vested into MBf Finance, and it was renamed as AmFinance Berhad (AmFinance).


CIMB BANK
CIMB is an abbreaviation that stands for Commerce International Merchant BankersThe name originated in 1986 when a predecessor entity, Pertanian Baring Sanwa Multinational Berhad, was renamed to Commerce International Merchant Bankers Berhad after Bank of Commerce acquired a controlling stake.
CIMB Bank earliest predecessor, Bian Ching Bank founded in 1924 in Kuching. In October 1999, combining the Bank of Commerce and Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad to form Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad
In 2005, Bumiputra-Commerce Group was acquired by CIMB and was renamed Bumiputra-Commerce Holdings. 
In March 2006, the final major merger in Malaysia involved the acquisition of Southern Bank Berhad
In September 2006, CIMB Group was officially launched by the then-Prime Minister of Malaysia. 


UOB BANK BERHAD
UOB Bank (United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad), began with the acquisition of Chung Khiaw Bank's Malaysian operation, with a heritage dating back to 1951. UOB Bank introduced its first ATM in 1982, followed by the country's first drive-thru ATM and its new Menara HQ in 1984. 


BANK ISLAM MALAYSIA BERHAD
Established on 1 July 1983, as Malaysia's first Islamic bank, following the enactment of the Islamic Banking Act 1983. It is a full-fledged, pure-play Islamic bank that provides Shariah-compliant banking and financial solutions to both Muslim and non-Muslim customers nationwide. 


BANK MUAMALAT MALAYSIA BERHAD
Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad was established on October 1, 1999, as the first full-fledged Islamic bank in Malaysia. It was formed to meet the growing need for Shariah-compliant financial services in the country.
15 November 2017 : The bank was accepted as a member of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV), becoming the first Islamic bank in the world and the first in Southeast Asia to join the alliance.


TABUNG HAJI
The history of Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), began in the early 1960s with the aim of providing Malaysian Muslims a Shariah-compliant way to save money for the Hajj-related affairs. 
1959: Royal Professor Ungku Abdul Aziz bin Ungku Abdul Hamid, a prominent Malay economist, proposed the establishment of a Hajj savings corporation to the government to protect pilgrims from unscrupulous middleman and ensure their savings were free from riba' (usury).
1963: The Perbadanan Wang Simpanan Bakal-Bakal Haji (PWSBH) was established.
1969: PWSBH merged with the Hajj Affairs Office (established in 1951 in Penang) to form the Lembaga Urusan dan Tabung Haji (LUTH). 
1995: LUTH was renamed to its current name, Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), and is governed by Tabung Haji Act 1995 (Act 535).

HOTEL MEMORIES (SABAH & SARAWAK)

SABAH
1997: TM RESORT, KUNDASANG, SABAH
Also known as Sri Intan Resort, located at Jalan Kundasang Kauluan, near the Kundasang Mosque and offers panoramic view of Mount Kinabalu. It is owned by TM Malaysia (Telekom).
It features a restaurant, a rabbit house for children and offers rooms with balconies. Guests can choose between hotel-style rooms and chalets, with chalets often being recommended for their coziness and large balconies. 
My family and I went on holiday to Kota Kinabalu at our brother's house in Graceville, Kota Kinabalu. We spend a night at TM Resort (Sri Intan Resort) near the Kundasang Mosque, situated on the hills, a few minutes walks to Pekan Kundasang. 



2013: BEST WESTERN KINABALU DAYA HOTEL, KOTA KINABALU
A 3-star hotel, value for money hotel known primarily for its strategic location in the heart of Kota Kinabalu's commercial district.
The hotel was centrally located on Jalan Pantai, within walking distance of popular attractions like the Gaya Street Market, the waterfront, Wisma Merdeka, Suria Sabah Mall (which was still under development), and numerous restaurants and eateries. Its location was consistently praised as superb.
I stayed at this hotel during the Sabah Heart Week 2013 program which was held at the Suria Sabah Shopping Complex from 17-22 August 2013.


2013: HOTEL SEASON 2, KOTA MARUDU, SABAH
A specific, established local business hotel located at Jalan Lotong, Kota Marudu, Sabah. 
I stayed at this hotel with my colleagues during the Health Screening program at the Kota Marudu Community Hall on 24-25 August 2013.


SARAWAK
2012: HOTEL GLORY INN, BINTULU, SARAWAK
This hotel located at Parkcity Commerce Square, Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi, Bintulu, Sarawak. It is situated in the Bintulu city cener area, close to amenities such as the Park City Mall and various shops and restaurants.
I stayed at this hotel with my colleagues during the Sarawak Heart Week 2012 program held at Park City Mall, Bintulu, Sarawak from 18-20 May 2012.

HOTEL MEMORIES (MELAKA)

1998: MALACCA PARADISE VILLAGE, AYER KEROH, MELAKA
Also known as Paradise Malacca Village Resort was a popular destination for family vacations in the late 1990s. It was situated in Ayer Keroh, conveniently near a vibrant tapestry of attractions, including the Melaka Zoo, Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park and Ayer Keroh Lake, making it an ideal base for families exploring the area. My family and I stayed at this resort in 1998 on a family vacation.
Unfortunately, this resort in now closed and has been abandoned for more than 20 years. Some visitors describing it as a spooky or haunted due to briken furniture and overgrown areas.


MALACCA PARADISE VILLAGE TODAY

2000: MAHKOTA CENTURY CENTURY HOTEL, MELAKA
The Brainstoring Session of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia was held at the Hotel Mahkota Century Hotel on 12 March 2000. 
The Mahkota Century Hotel (now known as Mahkota Hotel Melaka or Century Mahkota Apartments) is located on the waterfront in the heart of Melaka, near popular shopping complexes and historical sites. It is adjacent to the Mahkota Parade and the Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall, and within a walking distance of historical sites like the A Famosa fort and the Stadyhuys.


2008: AYER KEROH D'VILLAGE RESORT, MELAKA
My family vacation at the Ayer Keroh D'Village Resort in May 2008. It was a budget-family option in Ayer Keroh, known for its strategic location key attractions like the Zoo Melaka and Crocodile Park. The resort offered family rooms and a swimming pool. 


2012: HANG TUAH CITY HOTEL, BUKIT BARU, MELAKA
I stayed at this hotel with my YJM colleagues during the Melaka Heart Week 2012 program held at AEON Bandaraya Melaka from 23-28 March 2012.
The hotel is located at Taman Malinja, Bukit Baru, Melaka, previously known as Straits Meridian Hotel. This hotel is located within a 10-minutes drive of major Melaka attractions like Jonker Walk and Mahkota Parade. 
This hotel today in 2025 is no longer operating, it has now rebranded to the Collection O Hotel Supercowboy.

2013: THE EMPEROR HOTEL MALACCA
On our way back to Kuala Lumpur from the Health program in Masai and Johor Bahru, my team and I stopped over in Melaka for the night. We stayed at the Emperor Hotel located on Jalan Munshi Abdullah, Melaka 18 April 2013. 
Locate at Jalan Munshi Abdullah, The Emperor Hotel was known as one of the tallest buildings in Melaka at the time and was located close to major tourist attractions like Jonker Street.
The hotel operated for many years until it announced its closure in May 2020 due to the finalcial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

2015: D'IMPIANA HOMESTAY, ALOR GAJAH, MELAKA
The Health Screening Program at the Malaysian Agroscience University College in Alor Gajah Melaka was held on 5 November 2015. During the Program we stayed at D'Impiana Homestay in Alor Gajah Melaka.
The Homestay located at Taman Seri Bayu, Alor Gajah, Melaka, a 3-bedroom house with 2 private bathrooms,able to accommocate multiple guests.


2016: GARDEN CITY STRAITS CONDOMINIUMS, MELAKA
On a family vacation in 2016, we stayed at Garden City Straits Condominiums located on Jalan Merdeka, Melaka. Its offered various amenities for families, featured a pool area with a children's wading pool and a slide. 
Key Nearby attractions are the Mahkota Parade shopping Malls, the historical sites including Dutch Square, Stadthuys, A Famosa Fort and Jonker Street Night Market. 



These are some of the memories of hotels in Melaka that I once rented. Melaka is a very interesting holiday destination and there are many places to visit while on holiday with the family.

HOTEL MEMORIES (KELANTAN & PERLIS)

KELANTAN
2012: DYNASTY INN, KOTA BHARU, KELANTAN
Dynasty Inn Kota Bharu, Kelantan is located in Kota Bharu City Centre. Among the popular attractions near the Dynasty Inn in Kota Bharu, Kelantan are the Siti Khadijah Market, Istana Jahar (Museum), Padang Merdeka, a historical city square etc.
The is another property nearby called Dynasty Inn - Wakaf Che Yeh, which is a separate hotel located about 10-15 minutes drive outside the city center.
My colleagues and I stayed at Dynasty Inn during a health program at the Rukun Tetangga Hall in Ketereh, Kota Bharu in 2012 and a program at the MARA Poly-Tech College, Kota Bharu in 2016.


2018: DIAMOND HOTEL, KOTA BHARU, KELANTAN
Located at Wisma Koop Guru, Jalan Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, just right in the Kota Bharu City Center area, close to landmarks like Sultan Mohammad IV Stadium, Chinatown and the Siti Khadijah Market. 
The Hotel is still operating today (in 2025), listed as OYO 1151 Diamond Hotel now. 
My colleagues and I stayed at this hotel during the Health Screening program at the Sultan Mansor Mosque, Kota Bharu and also at the MARA Poly-Tech College in Kota Bharu, in 2018.

2017 : FEDERAL HOTEL, KANGAR, PERLIS
Situated in the city center, it offers easy access to local shops, eateries and the Masjid Alwi. A budget-friendly option in the heart of Kangar.
I stayed at this hotel with my colleagues when we held a health screening program at Arau Community College on 16 February 2017 and also at Kampung Guar Lepai on 18 February 2017.

HOTEL MEMORIES (KEDAH)

2012: HOTEL SERI MALAYSIA, ALOR SETAR, KEDAH
Alor Setar Heart Week 2012 took place at the Star Parade Shopping Complex in Alor Setar from 3-8 July 2012.
Throughout the program, my colleagues from the Malaysian Heart Foundation and I stayed at the Seri Malaysia Hotel in Alor Setar. The hotel located in the heart of Alor Setar, strategically positioned near the State Stadium Complex. An affordable, budget-friendly accomodation option for travelers. 
The hotel owned by the state government and is part of a national chain offering  accesible lodging. The hotel was located central to Alor Setar town, with easy access to attractions like the Sultan Abdul Halim Gallery. Masjid Zahir, Alor Setar Tower, the birthplace of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the Balai Nobat etc. 


2012/2013: TERAP INN,KUALA NERANG, KEDAH
Terap Inn is a hotel located in Kuala Nerang, Kedah. It is owned by the Padang Terap District Council. 
The Inn is currently known as OYO 44033 Terap Inn Kuala Nerang and offers standar hotel amenities. 
My colleagues and I stayed at this hotel during the Health Screening Program organized by the Malaysian Heart Foundation at the UMNO Hall in Kuala Nerang, Kedah on 22 September 2012. The following year on 2013, we stayed at this same hotel for our program at FELDA Lubok Merbau on 5 January 2013 and Dewan Orang ramai at Naka, Kedah on 6 January 2013.  


2013: D'AMAN HOMESTAY, GUAR CHEMPEDAK, KEDAH
During the Health Screening program at SMK Agama Yan in Yan, Kedah on 7-8 January 2013, we stayed at D'Aman Homestay, Taman Desa Aman located in Guar Chempedak, Kedah which is owned by one of the teachers at SMK Agama Yan.


2013: KULIM INN, BANDAR KULIM, KEDAH
Kulim Inn is situated on Jalan Bukit Alwi in Bandar Kulim in Kulim, Kedah, a strategic location near the town center. 
Highlighted for having an outdoor swimming pool and ample parking. My colleagues from YJM and I stayed at Kulim Inn during the Health Screening Program held at SMJK Chio Min, Kulim, Kedah on 29 December 2013.
Today it is known as OYO 89486 Kulim Inn, managed under the OYO budget hotel brand. 


2014 / 2017: D'VISTA HOTEL, SUNGAI PETANI, KEDAH
My colleagues from YJM and I stayed at D'Vista Hotel in Sungai Petani during our Health Programme held at Central Square Sungai Petani (2014) and at MSU College Sungai Petani (2017).
Today, D'Vista Hotel at Sungai Petani has been rebranded as Merilton Hotel.
