2ND DAY TOUR : 20 FEB 2018 (BURSA - KUDASASI)

After breakfast, the group was taken on a tour around the city of Bursa in Turkey.

GRAND MOSQUE OF BURSA (ULU CAMII)

Grand Mosque of Bursa is a historic mosque in Bursa, Turkey. It was commissioned by the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Nicopolis and built between 1396 and 1399. The Mosque was designed by architect Ali Neccar.

GREEN MOSQUE (YESIL CAMI)

The Green Mosque also known as Mosque of Mehmed I is a part of larger complex on the east side of Bursa, Turkey, the former capital of Ottoman Turks before they captured Constantinople in 1453. The complex consist of a mosque, a mausoleum known as the Green Tomb, a madrasa, a public kitchen and a bathhouse. 

The Green Mosque was commissioned by Sultan Mehmed I Celebi who ruled from 1413 to 1421. 

After visiting the two mosques in Bursa, we were taken to have lunch at Yuce Hunkar, undoubtedly one of the best known and most popular restaurants in Bursa. Yuce Hunkar has been serving halal Turkish and local cuisine for the past 50 year. 

After lunch, they were taken to the nearest Silk Bazaar for shopping.
