After visiting France, our group was taken to our second destination, which is Belgium. The distance between France and Belgium is 699 km, and the travel time is 7 hours and 29 minutes.

BELGIUM

Belgium officially The Kingdom of Belgium, is a country located in Western Europe. The country is bordered by the Netherlands to the North, Germany to the east, Luxembourg to the southeast, France to the south and North Sea to the west.

Residents in Belgium speak three languages, namely Dutch, French, and German. The capital of Belgium is Brussels, which is given the title "THE CAPITAL OF EUROPE" because Brussels is the seat of the headquarters of most of the Union institutions in Europe. Brussels is also the headquarters for the European Union and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).

Upon arrival in Brussels, Belgium, our group was taken to see around the city of Brussels before being taken to the hotel accommodation.

The hotel in Brussels where our group stayed is Hotel Van Der Valk, located at Charleroi Airport, 115, Chaussee de Courcelles, Belgium, which is approximately 3 km from the city of Brussels.

THE ATOMIUM, BRUSSELS

The Atomium is a landmark modernist building in Brussels, Belgium. Originally constructed as the centrepiece of the 1958 Brussels World's Fair (Expo 58). In 2013, CNN named The Atomium the strangest building in Europe.

MINI EUROPE

Mini Europe is a very cute attraction to do along with Atomium in Brussels. Here you can discover a unique miniature world. Mini Europe is a park where all the wonders of Europe are exhibited in miniature.

KINEPOLIS, BRUSSELS

Kinepolis Brussels is a cinema complex on the Heysel/Heizel Plateau in Brussels, Belgium, owned by the Kinepolis Group. The IMAX theatre of Kinepolis Brussels from the outside.
