After breakfast, the group was taken directly to Hamilton, a city in the Waikato district. The journey from Taupo to Hamilton is 152 km and takes 1 hour and 53 minutes.

On the way stop at Huka Fall in the Waikato district.

HUKA FALLS

Huka Falls is a chain of waterfalls that are part of the Waikato River, which is the longest river in New Zealand. The Waikato River originates from Lake Taupo, which is also the largest lake in the country. The volume of water flowing here is 220,000 liters per second.

Here, there is also a spot called Ice Blue Snow White where the water is bluish white, really beautiful.

There's a number of relatively short walking tracks around the area. 

HAMILTON GARDENS

The 58-hectare Hamilton Gardens showcase horticultural skills and imagination. Nestled on the banks of the Waikato River, it is the most popular tourist attraction park in the Waikato Region. It has managed to attract over 1 million tourists and host more than 2,000 events per year.

Hamilton Jamia Mosque located at 921 Heaphy Terrace, Claudelands, Hamilton, New Zealand. This suburban mosque is new and was established in the past decades by the South Auckland Muslim community. 

After the tour, the group was taken back to Auckland to rest at the Airport Kiwi Motel, ending the visiting session for October 8, 2018.
