BENTONG, PAHANG
Bentong is a town located in western Pahang, at the border state of Selangor in the west and the state of Negeri Sembilan in the south. Located about 48 km from Kuala Lumpur, it is a small but busy town.

18 JULY 1998 - LENTANG FOREST RECREATIONAL PARK
Reminiscences of a July 1998 family day spent at Selesa Hill Homes with the staff of CJ Management Consultants.
We paused at Hutan Lipur Lentang for a lunch en route to Selesa Hill Homes. Situated approximately 12 km from Bentong, Pahang, on the Karak Highway, Hutan Lipur Lentang is a reserve forest located in Bukit Tinggi. The Forest provides excellent camping site for holiday makers and is an ideal place for both a relaxing and educational outing for families.

Surrounded by countryside at the foot of Gunung Ulu Kali, this relaxed Hill resort about half-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur through magnificient mountain scenery and greenery leads you to Selesa Hillhomes.
Selesa Hillhomes is a home to a huge variety of flora and fauna, and ideal place to have your meeting, Seminar and Family Day.

2012 : SMK BENTONG, PAHANG
On April 25, 2012, the Health Screening Program for students of SMK Bentong  was conducted by the Heart Foundation of Malaysia.
The day before the program, my colleagues and I traveled from our Kuala Lumpur office to Bentong, where we stayed at the Kristal Hotel. The 62.2 km trip takes fifty-eight minutes.

REFERENCE:

Kristal Hotel located at Jalan Chan Siang Sun, Bentong, Pahang, located within waling distance to all the nice food stalls and coffee shop.

Attended the Program Coordination meeting at the Bentong District Health Office on 12 April 2012.

In Kg. Benus, Bentong, Pahang, there is a daily boarding secondary school called SMK Bentong. It is roughly five kilometers away from downtown Bentong.
Bandar Bentong was the name that SMK Bentong adopted. The locals claim that the name "Bentong" originates from the name of a particular kind of bamboo tree that grows wild in this region and is called Buluh Betung. Formerly, this school was called Sekolah Menengah Aneka Jurasan. It opened for business on January 1st, 1965.
Mr. Mohd Nor bin Hj Osman served as SMK Bentong's inaugural headmaster. The majority of this school's pupils are from Simpang Pelangai, Felda Lurah Bilut, Felda Mempaga, Sertik, and Kg. Benus.

Bentong has a few attractions as it turn out - a hot spring, Lemang To'ki, the Chamand waterfall etc.
