KUALA LUMPUR - JALAN SULTAN ISMAIL

Jalan Sultan Ismail is a major road through Kuala Lumpur. Formerly known as Treacher Road, the road may have been renamed after Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, the 4th Yang Di Pertuan Agong Malaysia (1965-1970) who are also the Sultan of Terengganu. 

Jalan Sultan Ismail starts at its interchange with Jalan Kuching in the west, and ends at the intersection with Jalan Imbi, from where it continues as Jalan Kampung Pandan. The northern part of Jalan Sultan Ismail is the Chow Kit are while the southern part is the Bukit Bintang area.

The IEM annual dinner is held in April every year. In year 2000, the Annual Dinner was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The guests were IEM members from all over the country. Indeed, every year, IEM members would gather for an annual dinner to strengthen ties between members.

The Renaissance Hotel situated at the Corner of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, 500 metres from Petronas Twin Towers, from business to leisure Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel has it all.

The Malaysian Heart Foundation was invited to conduct a Health Screening Test at Toyo Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd located at Menara Haw Par, Jalan Sultan Ismail Kuala Lumpur. The 1-day Health Screening was attended by 108 employees of the company.

Menara Haw Par, a 31-storey office block located along Jalan Sultan Ismail. It is directly located opposite the Hard Rock Cafe, Kuala Lumpur and Concorde Hotel. Other prominent landmarks surrounding it includes Menara Prudential, Shangri-La Hotel, Menara UBN and many more.
