Subang is a small town in the Petaling district, Selangor. It is located north of Subang Jaya, next to Kelana Jaya, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.

Subang is a town located between Subang Jaya and Shah Alam, Selangor. It consists of Kampung Melayu Subang and Kampung Baru Subang.

Tunnelling and Trenchless Technology developed and improved over decades enables construction of large underground infrastructure, laying of pipes, conduct condition assessment, rehabilitation, replacement and renewal excavation. 

The Seminar on Tunnelling and Trenchless Technology was held at Subang Sheraton Hotel and Tower (now Dorsett Grand Subang) from 6 - 8 March 2006. I am one of the IEM secretariat involved in conducting this seminar.

CONCET 2006 (Conference of Concrete Engineering and Technology) was held at Subang Sheraton Hotel and Tower from 9 -11 May 2006.

This event is part of a long-standing biennial series in Malaysia focused on the built environment, specifically revolving around advancements in concrete materials and structural engineering.

CONCET started in 1989 and has remained one of the premier technical events for civil engineers and researchers in Southeast Asia. The 2006 edition was a significant milestone that helped bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application in Malaysia's rapidly growing construction sector during the mid-2000s.

16TH SOUTHEAST ASIAN GEOTECHNICAL CONFERENCE

The SEAGC is the official conference of the Southeast Asian Geotechnical Society. The objectives of the Conference are to promote good liaison and cooperation with member countries in SEAGC and its relationship with other international and related societies in the exchange of information for tackling common areas of interests in Geotechnical Engineering. 

The 11th SEAGC was held in Malaysia at the Subang Sheraton Hotel & Tower at Subang Jaya, Selangor from 8 - 11 May 2007. Coming just one year after CONCET 2006 conference at the same venue, this event shifted the focus from concrete technology to the challenges of soil mechanics, foundation engineering and geological hazards. 

49TH IEM ANNUAL DINNER

The IEM 49th Annual Dinner was held at Subang Sheraton Hotel & Tower located t Subang Jaya, Selangor. The Guest of Honour for this year Dinner was the Deputy Prime, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. 

This event was a major social and professional milestone for the engineering community in Malaysia, following the 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which took place earlier that same morning at the IEM headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

Subang Jaya City Council located at Persiaran Perpaduan, USJ 5, Subang Jaya, Selangor is in charge of the Subang Jaya city and the southern parts of Petaling District of Selangor. 

MBSJ are responsible for the public's health and sanitation, waste removal and management, town planning, environmental protection and building control, social and economic development and general maintenance functions of urban infrastructure.
