SELANGOR - RAWANG

Rawang was founded in the early 19th century and was one of Kuala Lumpur earliest satellite towns.
The earliest estimates of Rawang's founding date back  to 1825, it was the second area in Selangor to explored for tin mining.
In 1894, the first Electric Generator in British Malaya was installed in Rawang to support the Mining Industry, making Rawang the first location to be electrified in Malaysia.
